Die Gründungserklärung des Science Communication Centers wurde am 18. Dezember 2024 von den Spitzen von Österreichischer Akademie der Wissenschaften, Technischer Universität Wien und Universität Wien gemeinsam mit Martin Polaschek (damaliger Bundesminister für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung) unterzeichnet. Als Gründungsdirektor fungiert Univ.-Prof. Christopher Lindinger. Ab 2027 sind im Herzen der Wiener Innenstadt faszinierende Einblicke in Wissenschaft und Forschung für junge Menschen und Erwachsene zu erleben.
