Questions are the starting point of all knowledge. They set things in motion, open up new perspectives and challenge certainties. The new Centre for Science Communication provides a space where questions are welcomed, ideas can flourish and conversations can begin.
Die Gründungserklärung des Science Communication Centers wurde am 18. Dezember 2024 von den Spitzen von Österreichischer Akademie der Wissenschaften, Technischer Universität Wien und Universität Wien gemeinsam mit Martin Polaschek (damaliger Bundesminister für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung) unterzeichnet. Als Gründungsdirektor fungiert Univ.-Prof. Christopher Lindinger. Ab 2027 sind im Herzen der Wiener Innenstadt faszinierende Einblicke in Wissenschaft und Forschung für junge Menschen und Erwachsene zu erleben.
Q marks the creation of a new beacon of science communication in Austria. The initiative is jointly led by the University of Vienna, the Technical University of Vienna, and the Austrian Academy of Science.
